Storm Stanley Studios is a marketing and advertising firm based in Joplin, Missouri.  We’ve watched the world change all around local advertising media placement without changing the process, so we decided to take it upon ourselves to build the tool that we wanted to use for ourselves and our clients.

Placing local ads only becomes difficult when you can’t compare the media, and unfortunately, this happens a lot to local businesses.  The rate cards you receive from different media don’t allow you to do an “apples-to-apples” comparison, the media is bundled together in a format that’s difficult to break down, you’re looking at different demographics, geographics, cross-media, different sample time periods – there are a million different opportunities for it to quickly become overwhelming for a local business.

Spotter performs the mathematical evaluations for you – sorting by what’s most important to you and highlighting areas of great value.

Spotter then allows you to easily choose where you want to place ads – from across multiple media and media types.  Once you submit the order, Spotter automatically separates each media’s portion and works with specific reps at each media outlet.

What started off as a tool we wanted to build for ourselves quickly became something that we knew advertisers who prefer a more hands-on approach would love having access to.
